Welcome

The International Centre for Infectious Diseases Inc (ICID) is a Canadian organization providing innovative leadership and collaborative solutions for the global fight against infectious diseases. We do this by:

  • Mobilizing Scientific and Public Health Expertise - bringing together people and resources from the business, academic, government and not-for-profit sectors to address national and international infectious disease challenges.
  • Building Professional and Technical Capacity - delivering specialized training to public health and high-containment laboratory personnel throughout the world.
  • Leading National and International Initiatives - providing managerial and secretariat services to the infectious diseases community.

Since 2004, ICID has been working to increase collaboration among researchers, physicians and public health specialists to help Canadians achieve greater protection and value from public health investment and infectious diseases innovation. We work with organizations throughout the world who share our dedication to fighting disease and fostering innovation.
